What makes this course different from other TOTs courses?
Most CEU courses about tethered oral tissues (TOTs) focus on the entire lifespan or general pediatrics. Many of the pediatric CEU TOTs courses do not focus on infants, let alone breastfeeding infants.
This is a comprehensive course taught by an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
This CEU course is unique in that lactation education is weaved throughout the course in order to highlight that both parts of the dyad contribute to functional feeding. To our knowledge, there is no other on-demand CEU course for therapists that provides this level of education and demonstration on functional TOTs assessment and intervention fully within the context of breastfeeding.
Are there prerequisites for this course?
There is no required coursework needed prior to enrolling in this course.
