Julie is a licensed speech pathologist (CCC-SLP), certified location educator counselor (CLEC), and international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). Julie works exclusively with mother-infant pairs prenatally and during the first year postpartum.

Prenatally, she educates and empowers her clients with evidence-based information about lactation, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding so they can understand normal/typical behaviors and when to ask for help.

Postpartum, she offers a holistic and integrated approach to lactation support and feeding therapy to help families reach their infant feeding goals.

DAIRIAN ROBERTS, MS, OTR/L, IBCLC, PMH-C

Dairian received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. A lover of biomechanics, Dairian immediately specialized in hand therapy post-graduation.

After years in hand therapy (private practice and outpatient hospital), she transitioned from splints and casting to postpartum support and feeding babies. Motherhood will do that to you. Immediately after the birth of her first child, Dairian trained in traditional postpartum care and homeopathy. Determined to provide equitable care for lactation after her own racially biased care, she completed the CLEC program.

Dairian continued to receive further certification as a newborn care specialist as well as multiple manual therapy techniques. She is a passionate advocate for Black maternal health equity – providing high-quality, highly specialized, accessible care within her community.
